hey guys anyone know of any ridiculously strong mentalism? like derren brown style effects. really direct stuff requiring little or no props kind of thing? any help appreciated

it totally depends on your skill level. if you are a beginner, and just looking to do stuf flike derren brown, then it doesnt matter if we give you sources of material because mentalism is about performance and tons of practice. derren brown uses some very basic stuff (not all his stuff is basic) and produces a fabulous effect because he is a great performer and thinker. He masks a lot of his stuff with NLP (which he uses some but not all the time) but it realy does come down to basic mentalism principles that you can find in annemann and corinda. Ridiculously strong mentalism is you making it that way. Even if you have a great effect, your performance can make it look so transparent it isn't even funny. Think about it that way and you will be on your way to becoming a better mentalist. If you like derren brown type stuff, you may want to pick up stuff from kenton knepper. his suggestion and dual reality principle teachings are at the core of a lot of what derren does. but please, do not try to be like derren.
