perhaps we should use a little thing called our eyes. just look at the rest of the mentalism forum. trust me, you'll find a similar topic. anyways, i'd say invisible deck, just because of the suggestion, and psychological forcing i do before i bring out the deck.

I like doing a trick where I ask someone to think of a number, I write 16 numbers, that I "hope will include theirs", on a piece of paper in a 4 x 4 grid. When they name their number, the rows, columns, diagonals etc add up to the number.

(NOTE: I saw Derren Brown do this. My version involves using a mind reader wallet although his version did not.)

That's called a Magic Square (a good routine by the way). My favorite mentalism effect would have to be KK. There's a few other great ones, which also are not on Penguin.
