How do you make a magic Table or find a cheap one?

There is a book you can find at most of the major magic supply companies called "The Table Book" with many plans in it.

I bought a magic table that packs flat with a top hat logo on the front which collapses flat for travel. It is definitely worth the money since it has a number of shelves to hide props until I need them and helps to keep the stage uncluttered. I would not buy one of the cases that turn into a table as they do not seem to dress a stage well enough.

Go to a furniture store and look at some of their side tables. I also use a round topped single leg cherry table that I got at one of these stores and it looks very nice on stage to feature an effect.

The table I got was from Abbott's magic in Michigan. Their web site is awful but you can send for their catalogue. Tannen's in New York CIty also has them, I think. Check their web page.

it depends on what kind of illusion you want to do.
i make all my tables. its cheaper that buying them, and you can also costamize them to fit your style.
i desing and build all of my illusion props( tables and boxes)
