The above post gives a lot of good information.

You have to also check the laws of your state. Depending on exactly what you want to do, you may need a liscense. You may also have to be 18 or 21 to do some stuff. So check your state laws.

This isn't just something that you can pick up one day, and go out and perform. Personally, I have been practicing fire eating for quite awhile, but I still hang back a lot. I use fire very seldom when practicing, just so I can focus on all of the moves. And I started out with small stuff at first. I would not suggest trying to start off on a full body burn. If it's something you really want to do, start small.

You also have to remember, that you will get burned. There is no doubt behind it. You do fire magic, and sooner or later, you will be burnt. Professionals still get burned when doing fire magic. So it is a dangerous form of magic, that should not be taken on unless you are sure you are willing to dedicate countless hours perfecting the art.
