I suggest you pick up Mark Wilson's Complete Course in Magic. That has some great stuff in it. :D

If you must have STAGE TRICKS, then the following are great all around..

-Rabbit Mirror Box (Better for Kids, but still works with Adults)
-Multiplying Bottles (Great effect, needs good presentation though)
-Appearing 10' Pole
-Appearing Cane/Vanishing Cane
-Airborne
-Vanishing Ketchup Bottle
-Linking Rings
-Zombie Ball
-Strat-o-sphere (Great for Kids)

All of these are excellent, but like John said, browse thru and something will catch your eye... We cant just tell you what to buy, only give our opinions..
