Hey everyone.

Just thought I'd fill you all in on something I may be doing at the end of August. At a nearby drive-in, I plan on being cuffed with police issue hand cuffs, locked in a bag, surrounded by wooden pallets that will then be lit on fire, and trying to escape.

This will happen just before the movie begins, and I already pitched the idea to the owner. He loves it! I'm just waiting on information that will keep me from being sued by spectators for any reason (Errant spark, freaking out, whatever).

I also have it on good authority that the local T.V. news station will come and film it. This is all being done as a publicity stunt, with professional advertisement and radio coverage.

And of course, everything has been worked out to the smallest detail to ensure my safety and those of the crew and movie goers.

If this actually happens, I'll fill everyone in, and film it for all to see. Like I said, we're still working out the fine details, so its a wait and see game now until the end of june.

Make sure you have liability insurance! Even with all the planning in the world, the unexpected CAN happen, and if a spectator DOES get hurt, or a spark sets fire to something nearby...

Also, have you rehearsed this under the actual conditions under which you will be doing it (pallets and fire; the works)? Some nasty conditions could arise that you might not have anticipated, and will want to further provide for (and by all means, have SEVERAL people handy with working fire extinguishers both for rehearsals and actual performance).

All precautions had been covered. I say had been because the event was cancelled for a different reason. Long story short, I was assaulted, and my equilibrium is still not returned 100%. Oh well, @#*& happens. I'll just do it next year. And thank you for being out there to remind people of the many warning signs with stunts like this. If not for people like you, we'd have alot of magis in trouble.

How are you going to do that? Is it a ummm..... Bevel Base? Are you going to just escape, or completely vanish?

The basic idea is, after being shackled and tied/locked in the bag, the four wooden palletts would be placed around me on the sides, like a box. The front pallett would be the second -to-last to be placed, while I'm still seen to be locked in the sack. Then, the final pallett is placed on top, sealing me inside. Kerosene poured, lit on fire, and moments later, the thing collapses. A split second later, I,m on a vehicle 50 feet away being hit with a spot light and out of the restraints.

Like I said, next summer for sure.

Lol do you use a double for this...If so, I feel sorry for the guy in the bag haha.
