Hello Everyone

A question in this forum by Edwin 0880 inspired me to make a thread about body loads and steals, vesting and acquitment.

So here it is:

Body loads and steals, vesting and acquitment

I don't know if there is a dedicated DVD on this particular subject, but I know that Mr Jeff McBride talks about it in several of his DVD's.

Here are the ones in which I know he teaches about it:

Jeff McBride - The Art of Card Manipulation - Volume 2
Image
Chapter "Body Loads and Steals - Clips - Vesting; Acquitments"

Jeff McBride - World Class Manipulation - Volume 2
Image
Chapter "Coin holders and secret devices"
http://www.penguinmagic.com/product.php?ID=S4402

I also know that Adrian Man (Who comes highly recommended by Mr McBride) talks about it in these DVD's about CD manipulation:

CD 1: http://www.penguinmagic.com/product.php?ID=S8429
CD 2: http://www.penguinmagic.com/product.php?ID=S8431
(The manipulation CD's are available @ Penguin Magic in mini, jumbo, shaped, normal, coloured)

See the chapter "Body Steal" in volume 1 and the chapter: "Mini CD Acquitment" in volume 2.
He also shows you a very simple and clever "clip" made out of Velcro that you can make yourself that can hold almost anything. Sort of like this one: http://www.penguinmagic.com/product.php?ID=S12777

Another DVD to check out is: Jay Scott Berry's Topits and Pockets
Image
http://www.penguinmagic.com/product.php?ID=S4415, where he, besides the terrific topit and pocket devices, shows a very simple and brillant sleeve hold out for a single coin. (Only one in each sleeve though because of the noise problem). Mr Jay Scott Berry has several hold outs and clips purchable on Penguin Magic also.

If you get interested in the topit, which is for vanishing/ditching objects, gimmicks etc., here's a more up-to-date version recommended by the great Mr Michael Ammar and Mr. Jeff Kaylor: The TKO

(This comes with the gimmick already sewn, and pattern for making more yourself)

You can also get different clips and holders available @ Penguin for "holding out" objects till you need them:

For balls or stacks of coins: The ball holder from Uday

For multiple balls

(Although you can just make one out of a bag for one of those mini, retractable umbrellas, by sewing in an elastic in the opening.)

A universal holder by Alexander DeCova is offered by Penguin Magic:

But I don't know what it is and if it's worth the $ ;)

I know Mr Norm Nielsen has some very good (Murray) card droppers

and coin droppers

Viking Magic manufacture a coin slide:

Mr. Betini's Babel Dropper is also one to consider:

The Viking/Keller Catcher can deliver coins one at a time:

(although I found a thing in a toyshop called "POG Quickdraw" and euro coin holders that do almost the same):

I don't know who invented this "Coin Dumper", but it is carried in many online shops:

Mr Tony Clark has a card dropper as well.

He also has dove holders in any color: http://www.penguinmagic.com/product.php?ID=S5805 ... and a Silk Dropper: http://www.penguinmagic.com/product.php?ID=S2873

I made a holder myself too:

Ironically these are the ones I use the most, and they cost practically nothing to make. They are so small you can fit a 100 under the seems of your coats and pockets. They are made out of large paperclips that are bend to this special shape. Nothing to "trigger", no lifting, no nothing. Just take what you need ;)

I hope this was helpful to you!

Yes you can. If you read the frequently asked questions section, you will see just to choose "Iceland". Penguin magic will be aware of all orders going to this country, and then in the textbox when ordering you write the real country ;)

Hope this helps you!
