What do you wear

What do you wear while performing a kids show? I wear black pants a black undereshirt and a very colorful madri gras type vest...great for a childrens party.

on the shirts for my magic and juggling show, we got them printed at a t-shirt place and on the front is our logo, and on the back it says
"bike and mob show

a magical juggling experiment"
as well as also having our full size logo on the back

Dress to fit the occation. Kids shows, a tux would be silly. Dress nice.
Perhaps sunday best for an adult private party.
For a stage show, very formal as a guest performer, I use tuxedo. That's what I use for dove productions.

Like BBunnell, I dress to fit the occasion. Sometimes for school shows, I wear dark slacks, a bright open collared shirt and a sport coat or a very loud, Hawaiian style shirt (depending on the age of the kids or the theme of the show). A few times, I've worn a dress shirt with my Daffy Duck neck tie along with the sport coat.

For birthday parties (inside), I either wear a collarless pull-over shirt with a sport coat or the Hawaiin style shirt (outside).

Of course, for gospel shows and other church venues I generally wear a suit.

Again, it all depends on the type show, age of audience, location and style of magic being performed. But the thing to remember is PRESENTATION IS EVERYTHING!

guys, i need some help.... i have been invited to be in a 14 and under magician show.what should i wear? dont own a tux or suit. i do own slacks and like a sportcoat.

How old is the audiance and what tricks are you going to do?

If I'm doing anything but a restaurant show, I wear black cargos, combat boots, a black t-shirt with a black button down (all buttons undone) over it, a key ring on each ring and index finger, big black Xs drawn on the backs of both hands (straight edge, y'know), spiked hair, a rubber band on each wrist, and a key on a string (leaving home) around my neck. Pretty bizarre, I know, but I've never been called on it yet. I also paint one nail (right ring finger) black. Currently working on a way to use this in a trick.

This depends on what kind of show it is... if it is kid show wear something bright... If you are doing a show for adults like on my show I wear leather with chains sometimes...

Josh,

You're pictures look just fine for most occasions. I thought it looked pretty professional, especially for intimate audiences and restaraunt. That is just my opinion.

I did notice you are stocked up on light bulbs :wink:
