i have bisection and shock fx, bisection is a great trick and easy to make, the reactions are so good because the adiunce doesn't expect you to be standing there with have your body off. shock fx in my opinion is a good buy. the bowling ball production, spike threw tonge part 1, stabbed , and umbrella penetration are the only ones i liked one this video. some of the other effects are terrible, but its still worht it

Shock F/X is an ok video. I liked some of the tricks. Some tricks where just terrible. From 1-10, I give it 5.
His best stuff is found in his books. I really like Solo-X and Illusion F/X. Great books.
I also recemend Bisection, Armbuster and Pocket sawing in half. However Andrews stuff needs the mind of the performer to add a whole lot more to what Andrew himself presents.

Yes it is. You practicly do the setup infront of the spectators without them knowing that you are doing anything at all.

does it need any special equipment or gimmicks? if it does, is the device heavy or bulky?

The gimmick for Bisection is very easy to build. It took me about 15 min to build. The audience will be shocked when they see it. Thats not something they will expect. The illusion is done fast. Then you move. They wont have time to reconstruct it. It looks imposible.

Touching Sky is great. Its cheap. I recemend it.
What you get is:

Broom Flight:
Its an awesome levitation and is worth more then the actual cost of the booklet itself. Its a simple method of floating on a broom. You only need a towel and a broom. Plus you can sweep up after the show.

Airborne:
You float 6 feet up in the air. It looks incredible. They will treat you like a good after this one.

Floating on the Edge:
Its an impromptu twist on the pocket levitatior. Do it anywhere anytime. No gimmicks needed.

Mid - Air:
The magician takes a seat on a stool. He crosses his legs. He begins to rise. He reaches below to remove the seat.
This is suited for stage only.

You can get them at a novelty store. If you want to get the DVD, wait until after you have watched it before you go out and buy those things.

I agree with Baronen, Mayne has awesome ideas for stage performers who are on a budget and can't buy expensive props, i use stuff from his body morphin' book every single day and get reactions. For those prices, what is there to lose?

so can you wear the gimmick for bisection? can you sit with it on, can you do it surrounded, can you do it anywhere any time, can you do it wearing any pair of clothes, and can you make your legs walk around by themseves while your top half off??? If you could answer these questions it would be appreciated.- Thanks
