i performed regularly before but i dont know if i have been doing a good job... i got paid 50 bucks a performance but i didnt even charge any money, however i think it's due to the fact there's a lack of magicians where i live... anyways here's my routine.. tell me what u think please?

1. flash paper aided appearing cane, followed by a switch to dancing cane
2. d lite (2 of them)
3. stealth pen (i know it's not stage but there's audience interaction)
4. changing the same dollar to a 10 then back aided by a TT
5. i pretend to get thirsty and do Airborne using coke can
6. using change bag to make strands of red and yellow fuse to a vietnam flag (i live in a viet community)
7. card manipulation (productions)
8. linking rings (standard presentation)
9. multiplying bottles

i know it's all over the place but i'm a beginner to stage tricks so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I agree with saving the best for last. I would also suggest another good trick for an opener. If you impress them from the very first, then you will have their attention and believe it or not, their support if something goes wrong later.
I suggest using music with your card productions. When producing a lot of single vards, do it fast, when producing card fans, do it slowly so people can get a good look or they might not even notice there was a different color fan.

thank you for your suggestions, and yeah i do have music playing throughout the act. i'm not much of a talking guy. what would be a good trick to end inyour opinion? it seems the multiplying bottles gets them cuz i do like a glass and bottle switching places thing then at the end pretend to mess up by showing 2 glasses then produce 8 bottles in continuation.

Get visi-bill if ya got extra money. Very visual dollar bill change (folded only into eigths). Goes into great lengths explaining and you can change it twice.
