Hey, i have a gig for a kids birthday in about a month and have a few tricks to preform but would like to see what trick everyone else is doing, so if you dont mind can you please post the tricks in your act and a brief description, thanks.

Here's mine:

1) 3-4 min. D'light routine, With music (still cant find good music ne suggestions? )

2) 2-3 min. Fraidy cat rabbit, Black Rabbit, changes to white then white disappears.

3) 2-3 min. What's Next; a big dominoe changes from 1-4-3-6-8

4) 4-5 min. Linking Rings , self-explanitory

5) 3 min. Tabary- Rope routine not yet perfected

6) 2-3 min. Insurance Policy. Wrong card many times until found on insurance policy.

7) 4 min. Dove Pan- make the insurance policy disappear and then with flashpaper in there (first load) toss i match (lit) and flames come up then (second load) produce candy assorted.

If anybody has any suggestions, i'll gladly take them.

My act added up is between 20-25 min. Goal was 30 if anyone has any suggestions to add something else i'm open to em. Thanks, Kyle

Looks like a good routine there, the production of candy, good to keep that at the end.
Here are a few suggestions:
Cut and Restored Rope I use Duane Laflins routine where the knots (3 of them) pop off the rope. Terry Herbert uses this with a patter about his shoelace breaking since kids can relate to that.

Magic Milk Pitcher
Strat-O-Sphere
Kovari Pom Pom Sticks
Color Changing Shoelaces (about 10 bucks)
TT Blendo routine or Silk Blow tube (3 separate silks put into clear tube, when you blow them out they are tied together.)
Multi Color Rope trick-3 different color ropes, tie each into a circle and have kid blow on them or whatever, then toss into air and they change into one circle of rope.

Just a few ideas, I know some are expensive but others are like 10 bucks or so. Dan Harlan's Pack Small Play Big Birthday routine has some great ideas and most you can make at home with easily obtainable materials.

I wrote some music for the D"lite routine for a fellow Penguinite magician. He liked it and is using it. Let me know if you are interested in it.

Maybe some sponge ball stuff, vanishing hank, magic coloring book and disappearing crown would all be additions for birthday parties.
