Hi~

I'm thinking about to do the magic tricks on my high school talent show.

But the thing is

this is my first time to show my magic tricks to many people.

So... Can you guys help me to perform my magic tricks?

Sure! What are your magic tricks? What's the venue? On what date is the show?

I'm going to perform with Equal to Unequal, Apearing Cane (But still can't figure out about routine), the linking rings, Floating bill and Production cards with two hands.

Anything you can help me about? :?:

The first thing that comes to mind is that talent shows usually don't give you much time to perform. I'm guessing you have about 5 minutes. If you can do two hand card productions, God bless you. That'll impress them.

Okay, so for a routine I'd have to put on my thinking cap. Immediately, I'm imagining a magician walking on stage, doing a bunch of card productions and at the very end, he reaches over and makes a cane appear. Then you introduce yourself, patter, patter about how you started in magic and that you'd like to show them one of the greatest tricks in magic. Linking Rings. Then you're done. Forget the Floating Bill. The last thing I wanna see you doing in your very first show is any type of IT work. That's dangerous. You could do Professor's Nightmare pretty easily with a high school theme. But I'm just not feeling how well high school kids will react to a single, solitare rope trick.

YOu could reverse the routine I suggested.... Walk in, tell the story about how you got involved in magic... do the Rings. Then accept the applause. Then tell them that your true passion is pure slieght of hands. Make the cards appear one after another and finish with the appearing cane in some grand way.

Hope this gives you some ideas of how to go about your show. Keep in mind your time constraints, pick a routine, and then practice insanely.

Good luck.
