Hi, i have just recently ordered a dove tray called "dove tray (large deluxe)" and i also just got a new parakeet for my birthday that is already almost trained and was hoping that this bird would be able to be produced from a dove tray. I hope it will, and while i am at it, will it work in a chick pan? THANKS

The dove tray should be no problem. (Doves are bigger than parakeets.) The chick pan is probably going to be too small -- unless it's a very young parakeet.

yes this parakeet is a baby, it might be easier with a large pan do u think? cuz i only used one once and that was my mentuers that i havnt seen since i was 7. Thank you though, i REALLY appreciate it!

One thing to remember when using a parakeet in general, but more specifically in a dove pan, chick pan, oil pan, it doesn't matter...
Make sure the parakeet is very well trained and very comfortable being placed in a small dark area. Parakeets, by nature, are timid creatures when it comes to overhead approach. This is due to larger predators coming down to swoop them up! With this natural fear in them they are susceptible to heart attacks! Again just make sure that the bird is 100% comfortable with the scenario you are imposing. With that being said, good luck and have fun!

It is hard to train a parakeet to be quiet when in a covered scenario
but if you have time and put effert you can teach a parakeet to be quiet
Mine is loud in my devils hank but quiet in my dove pan
i think it also has to do with space.
