The only decent DVD I know of on the market that is tailored for kids shows is Dan Harlan's "Pack Small, Play Big, Kids Birthday Show DVD." I'm not sure penguin sells it (don't think so) So do some searching on the internet.

There are probably more books on this topic than DVD's, but if you find any other good ones, let us know here!

Don't know if you will see this but look up David Ginn on google or another shop. He is a very well known kid performer and has been doing it for a long time. I don't know if he has any videos/dvds but he does have a lot of books on kid magic.

I was just going to mention David Ginn as I read u writing it. I saw him at blackpool (kids r uz lecture).
He was very good. But in the way of dvds u wont find much. But thats because effects that work on kids are just scattered on dvds, but their not named tricks for kids.
I got table hopping cups and balls and used the routine (replacing sponge balls with oranges and and using a technique i learned for the magus capsule a large lemon), well anyway I used it on 9 year lds party, they loved it.

The other tricks kids love from my experiance are:

Smiling Assasin ( BUY BUY BUY) I didn't, got it for a pressie but everyone absolutly loved it.

And torn and restored kidz. (t@r newspaper but with a poster sayin happy birthday.

Kids also like my version of the sponge balls and mulitplying golf balls.
