d'lites r not so good for that kind of act... u could do many things with cards with mentalism. i did a trick once, and the audiance went insane!!! all i did was memorize the top 5 cards of the deck, then i forced them to 5 people in diffrent ways. each person kept his card in his hand, i made them all go up on stage. then i said that i can kno by the bod langauge of the person what his card is. i first named the 5 cards, which i said was by knowing them by the "thoughts in the air". after that i named each card and asked the person if that was his card, i told them to say NO no matter if it's really their card or not. after they all said no, i simply give an example that the person who lied did. let me explain, if i named the 5 of diamonds for example. and it was picked by the 4th guy. i ask each of the 5 people if it was their card. but lets say the 4th one noded his head while i asked him, so i say i knew it was him because of that, or if he hesitated, or anything u can come up with. if u can't catch the guy doing anything not regular on the first time, simply say that it's a though one, then u would check again, and u do the round once more, until he does something and u name his card.
the audiance actually belives that u can read body langauge by doing just that!!!
that's just one example of many which u can do with cards, u have a lot of material, but i think that the more familier mentalism material is more imperssive.
