Sounds Good. Only suggestion is to take out the arm chopper, or at least tie the kids into the routine, don't let the adult do all the work.

i think kids love Slush Powder in a routine. Oz's demo is cool, you could do it on a worried parent instead though, the kids would enjoy that, and so would the parent once they realised they weren't getting wet!

I use the arm chopper with a kid and use a comedy routine. It is actually my favorite part of my show, gets lots of laughs.

Have you ever had a bad experience with the French arm chopper at a kids show? I use a live scorpion for my final trick and it's gone rather well but I've been interested in the arm chopper as of late but was a little worried about the reactions.

No, the only problem I have had so far is having the kid run away when he sees the chopper :D and having some to scared to stick their arm in. I always wisper to them telling them everything will be ok, that it will not cut their arm at all. I sometimes have to remind them that they will not feel anything, to trust me. I usually do this while everyone is laughing. I think it works good with kids as a comedy routine because the kids and the adults get a thrill and lots of laughs.

Sounds like there is a silk theme, which is kinda like mine.

You might want to vanish a silk (tt)

Do u wanna elaborate on some of the tricks. I’m not familiar with all of them. i.e. Bongo hat, Gag bag, and the David C. hand thing

btw, how long does ur show run for?

My show runs for about 45 min. The daved copperfeild thing is a trick that he does in his act. I do it with the whol audience at the begginging of my show. The bongo hat is a clasic kid show gag where you put a triangular hat on the birthday childs head. It seems to grow and change colors and patterns. The last phase of the chang is a big clown face covering the childs on face. If done properly it gets a great reaction with both the kids and the adults.
