Although I'm more of a street magician, I want to be able to do some stage magic too. I already have some effects, but none really big effects. I'm thinking about building my own Zig Zag box. Does anyone have any advice before I go and break out the power tools?

Make it portable!!!

To be honest with you, I like the Cube Zag better because it is smaller and easier to lug around!

Zig Zags are NOT easy to build. If i were you, I would contact Chalet and see if they can whip up onw for you. Odivoulsy its going to be expensive because its chalet, but you get what you pay for. But if you can build it, more power to ya.

I don't think that Chalet is building the big stuff, anymore. The new government labor regulations forced them to downsize, from what I heard.

Jim Sommers makes a good one. Just make sure that the sliding panel is thin. Some of the ones out there are really bad. Unless you are good at making furniture, don't build it yourself.

Huh. Well my dad is a carpenter, but then again, I don't know. Heck, it won't kill me to not get one at all (probably won't) Thanks everyone.

You mean you're a busker or you wish you were David Blaine?

Thanks. I think it's gotta be either one of the two.

Four years later, and I wouldn't call myself a "street" magician or be associated with Blaine or Angel if I had a gun to my head.

Hah, it's amazing how much you can mature in magic in four years.

No. I made metamorphasis instead. now I made plans for a few other stage effects, and am going to remake my met. trunk. Time is the main factor, I'm a college student and I have a part-time job.
