I sang and danced for disney for 3 years. And i do magic, heres my view.

If a totally newbie has a week to learn a 3 minute dance routine, and then a week for a 3 minute stage effect......

After equal amounts of pracice the magic will ALWAYS look and be performed better.

Though I am not sure if you can compare the 2.

I have great experience in dance, music, and mild experience in magic and escape artistry. The physically hardest for me are dance and escape artistry, but mentally, magic and music are more challenging.

All four make use of different talents and specializations. Not only that, but for some, dance comes naturally, or magic performance is an easy skill. For that and many more reasons, comparing arts is simply ridiculous. Some people put little effort into arts that look difficult and produce tremendous results. Others that struggle to make things work may not achieve the same results in years.

How hard an art or a subject is depends on the person doing it. Everyone has different talents and skills.
