DaveV, it's alright. I knew that the picture was copyrighted to Bill Palmer, yet I also knew that he asked for people to consult him before using his pictures in something. I e-mailed him and he is resizing the picture. I explained that it's for an avatar for a magic discussion forum, so it's all good. Thanks for your concern though, Bill would appreciate it. If for some reason you don't believe me, ask Bill yourself.

Okay, so I'm thinking about making a new avatar, but I'm out of ideas (hence my current one). So I'm asking you guys to give me ideas, I may not pick yours, but there is a chance taht I will make it anyway. So please, give me some ideas on what my new avatar should be.

Yes, this is kind of a contest, and I will make the top three designs.

Rules:
-No copyrighted things (ie: "Sonic driving a motor bike," The Mona Lisa, etc.)
-You can submit as many ideas as you wish, but please put all of them in the same post.
-Nothing impossible!
-No stick figures.

well, if I were to get a picture of myself, it would become very distorted when I convert it to .gif format, so I won't6 do that, but my hobbies or interests is a good idea. I like to play Rock Band a lot, so I may do one like that, but I'm gonna wait for some more people.

I have an animated gif or whatever, but the file size is too big for penguinmagic, how can I decrease it's quality/anything to reduce it's file size?

You have three options:

1. Reduce the dimensions
2. Reduce the number of frames
3. Reduce the number of colours used
