ok new rule. if you answer you MUST post another riddle or say pass.
No. I'm the rule master around this thread. Your rule has many flaws. If I were to answer in that same post I put a riddle or say pass right? Well what if I'm wrong? Now we have two riddles. If I say pass and someone else posts a riddle then later the riddle poster says it was wrong we have now 2 riddles unsolved. This will lead to lots of confusion. Another thing wrong with this rule, not everyone is always on Penguin. I, you, everyone has a life. They can't devote their time here just waiting for answers. That's half the fun here. Waiting and anticipating to see if you're right.---thesun

Alright, here's a pretty tough one:

The answer I give is yes, but what I mean is no.
What was the question?

Good luck.

can i take this?

The paragraph below is most unusual. How quickly can you find out what is so unusual about it? It looks so ordinary you'd think nothing was wrong with it - and in fact, nothing is wrong with it. It is unusual though. Why?

"Gatsby was walking back from a visit down in Branton Hill's manufacturing district on a Saturday night. A busy day's traffic had had its noisy run; and with not many folks in sight, His Honor got along without having to stop to grasp a hand, or talk; for a mayor out of City Hall is a shining mark for any politician. And so, coming to Broadway, a booming bass drum and sounds of singing, told of a small Salvation Army unit carrying on amidst Broadway's night shopping crowds. Gatsby, walking towards that group, saw a young girl, back toward him, just finishing a long, soulful oration ... "
The above passage is taken from the book "Gatsby" written by Ernest Vincent Wright in the late 1930's

It has no "e" anywhere in the passage.

I remember that one. My Composition teacher made my class read it. It's an interesting paragraph.

In the middle of the woods is a cabin. There are 37 people in the cabin. They are all sitting down, facing the same direction, and they are all dead.
How did they die?
