something on the line of going on a date. that's my answer.

1. Walk (4 balls - not a genital joke)
2. Hit by pitch
3. Catcher drops third strike (batter still has to run for it)
4. Batter hits a foul ball (not considered a hit), and a fielder drops it (thus making it a ball in play (and an error)). Oh yeah, batter still has to run for it.
5. Catcher interferes with batter.
6. I think there's actually one more, but I can't think of what it is.

That wasn't really a riddle though. more like an obscure rules question. If I happen to have posted this before anybody else, then I pass as I don't have time for a riddle at the moment...

Walk (four balls), hit by pitch, catcher interference, inserted as a pinch runner, intentional walk (which is considered to be different from just a regular walk), four illegal pitches (similiar to walking by getting four balls, but pitches don't necessarily have to be balls).
