Maybe he does listen to "canadian music" but that doesn't change the fact that the song is utter crap...

Alright then...

I just got my tickets for Roger Waters. He's coming back to Boston in July. Last time I saw him, it was one of the best shows I had ever seen, and this time it'll be even better!

In school today I recently heard a song by Hildegard Von Bingen. Man, it was great!

Granted, you can't see much, seeing that all of the cases are closed. But you get the idea.

w00t TMBG is my all time favorite band. Geek rock rules....

I just got the Trancenden CD (Peace.Love.Beats) off iTunes. I really like it.

If you don't know, it's the music used on most of the penguin demo vids.

^-^

Roger Waters = Awesome, but I still liked it when he was in Pink Floyd more.

my friends were lucky. last saturday they went to "Buzz Bake Sale" its a concert with some of the following:

MCR
Sugarcult
Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
Taking Back Sunday
three Days Grace
Papa Roach
Flyleaf
and more!!

Haha, I find it funny how I hate every band on that list...

:)

Just the whole heavier-music genre I hate. I'm fine with stuff from like the 80s though, because that wasn't crap.

But that's just my opinion.

I used to think todays metal and metalcore was a pile of unmusical wank. Then I tried actually listening to it. It's like Stravinsky, it's a bit challenging at first but after a while it starts to click, and I found that some of the best music out there is metal, and there's a pretty broad spectrum of it e.g. Tool, Rammstein, Still Remains... Nine Inch Nails is a similar story, on the surface it goes against so much that music stands for, and is amazing because of it.

While I do agree it was better back then, they're no longer around. So now your choices are....

- David Gilmour
- Roger Waters
- The Australian Pink Floyd Show/Cover Bands

Now, TAPFS is good, but still, it's a cover band. I don't like David Gilmour's writing as much as I like Roger Water's, and Waters has a MUCH better stage show. He also plays a much better setlist.

So in the end, Waters is who I go to see when he comes to Boston ;).
