the strangers.... wasn't too impressed. and i read some about it and apparently it wasn't really based on a true story. that was disappointing to me.

It was probably like Amittyville Horror, yeah, it was supposedly based on a true story, but the events in the movie couldn't ever possibly be true. I haven't sen The Strangers...nothing about it really impressed me in the trailers or anything, and I didn't get any word form anyone except on here.

The Woods:
Heather's mom forces her to go to this really pristine college, that she doesn't really want to, they find out she's basically a genius or something, and so they keep her, but she's a troublemaker. but creepy stuff happens in college, so it's up to heather to save her new home! ;) anyway, the movie starts out kind of slow, but it gets really good, it's different, meaning I haven't seen a lot (or any for that matter) movies similar to it. I would definitely recommend it. (PS: it's only $3 at Big Lots...lol)

It turns out I probably won't be seeing Orphan, since no one wants to go...but I will be watching DeVour soon enough.[/i]

I saw The Thing Just recently. I have been putting the thought of seeing it off for awhile, but I'm glad I watched it. Just awesome! Crazy CGI!

Also, I have NO IDEA why everyone seems to hate SAW 2-5. I've loved every one of them. And the end always makes me go "ohh Sh**"

I didn't like 2 as much as the others, but I still loved all of them a ton! I'm certainly seeing VI in theaters.

Wait, which part?
SPOILERS!
The part where they find out it's a tape being played and isn't live was amazing! Never expected that! But the part with the kid being in the safe was...I dunno...
I'll watch it again, see what I think now...

Oh, I'm going to be watchinga couple more:
-Surveillance
-Captivity
-Thr3e
-Unknown (again)

And if I get around to it, Mindhunters and The haunting in Connecticut...
I'll keep you updated...

I just bought Clive Barkers Candyman today.
I saw it once as a kid and really liked it, so I finally got around to buying it.
Was going to buy feast, but picked Candyman over it. I'll wait to find a used copy of feast.

Captivity looks interesting, will have to rent it later this week. Didnt get good ratings on IMDB, but thats never stopped me before.

Oh man, really? I've seen two movies by Clive Barker (Candyman included), and I couldn't finish them, they were so boring...

anyway, DeVour was utter crap! don't even bother with it...

Ah...

I recently re-watched SAW II, and The Exorcism of Emily Rose.

SAW II was good, it just doesn't seem like a SAW movie to me...
EoER was different than I remember, but I liked it.

Who else wants to see the Nightmare On Elm Street remake in 2010? How about Halloween 2? The next 3D Final Destination?

I just rented and watched the Last House On The Left remake for the third time... what an excellent remake, seriously. I also rented The Devil's Rejects which I thought was great as well.

Anyone here see Orphan? I thought it was quite brilliant... thoughts?
