Sorry, not to distract from Paddy's topic, but yeah, a couple days ago, the principal of Hallandale High School (the high school I go to) was arrested.

I am in no way upset about this. The guy was creepy. Also, he spent the schools money to have murals painted on the walls of the school when it should have been used to buy new textbooks. I can't really say I respected the guy.

Anyway, I found it very surprising that a lot of the students, and even a lot of the staff members want him back. I find that ridiculous, how could anyone want him back?

Anyway, just thought I'd share that with you guys.

My school (back in the day) allowed the Principal to spank/paddle..we had a choice take the spank or detention..I always took the spank

My opinion for what it's worth...Spanking is fine, but never out of anger, and never with a "weapon".

By the time the child is 5 or 6 it's time to punish or "time-out".

Not such a good idea to want a Principal/Child abuser to return...What are they ?..nuts ?

I also believe in making the punishment fit the crime...I say 50 lashes with an extention cord !

Not exactly the same but I recently was shown a video that clearly displayed my old science teacher accepting an award for his special strain of medical cannabis. Needless to say I hear he got way cooler in the eyes of his students but mysteriously stopped working there for reasons that no one seems to know. He was a pretty cool guy. Let me juggle tissues caught on fire during the big state test.
