So I just finished watching every Doogie Howser M.D. episode there is (LOVED IT!) and need a new show. I'm looking into Night Court and 21 Jump Street... any other good suggestions?

Please look into Night Court. I started watching it because it stared Harry Anderson and he did some magic in it but turns out that I love the show. It is a show that has the perfect format, a cast of well developed characters and a constant turnover of new characters and plots each episode. It is a fantastic show and i can not recommend it enough.

Another one if an American institution. Cheers is such a quick and funny show. The characters are relatable and you will find someone you know that fits into each of the roles. It also fits into the above format of constantly revolving characters. although I like Night court a little bit better I can tell you that if you have the means please watch both.

Any specific reason why?

And if not cartoons, Fresh Prince is always a good choice, as others have mentioned.
