Need a good movie to watch...

I'm in the mood for a good movie...

I'd prefer something related to dreams or the mind, but not a horror or scary movie. It can be trippy, but I'd prefer it not to be.

Either that, or just a movie with a really great, original, story.
Something like Big Fish, or Ink.

Any suggestions?

I meant a movie that I would actually be able to watch...one that's out...on DVD...

Memento - it is trippy but still awesome
Fight Club
Saw (the first one) - it's horror but mainly psychological

Memento's actually the only one of those I haven't seen, all excellent movies too, great suggestions. I'll definitely check out Memento.

Other: MR. Brooks, Soloist, Sling Blade, K-Pax, As Good As it Gets, Stranger than Fiction, Donnie Darko, Hearts in Atlantas

(some of these are movies Ive rented lately, and enjoyed)

Ive been wanting to see that myself. But every time I try to rent it, its out. Guess I need to get netflix already.

Eternal Sunshine and A Beutiful Mind are excellent movies!

Another movie in that category would be Vanilla Sky w/ Tom Cruise.

Yes, I've seen it. Excellent movie, very odd, in a good way.

Requiem for a Dream is around the category, but I honestly didn't like it. (And yet I own it...but it's mostly because it also has Pi on the DVD)

I've also been meaning to watch Silence of the Lambs, but I don't know if that really fits the category.

I'm surprised no one mentioned The Butterfly Effect. Not that I haven't seen it, it's one of my favorite movies, but, it just seems so obvious.

Should really look into a few I listed.

These all deal with the mind: K-pax, 44 Inch Chest, Mr Brooks, Franklyn.

I thought about the butterfly effect. I even own it. But its not a movie I really recommend, since its not for most people.

Pi comes to mind... but I think youve seen it.
Dream Catcher, Hamlet, Psycho 4, 1408, The Shining, Secret Window, Fear and Loathing in LAs Vegas (though you're probably too young to get that one).

Silence of the lambs would only fit.. if you counted the mind games Hannibal plays.
