Just wondering how long can everyone hold their breath? I was watching an underwater escape and I held my breath along with the escape artist. Without taking a deep breath I was able to hold it for roughly a minute 30 before I started to notice anything. I think I could have held it for another 30-45 seconds but the escape artist escaped lol. This was with me plugging my nose in addition to holding my breath.

Whats your average time? lol

P.S. I don't know if this has affected my time at all but I am a saxophone player and an asthmatic... actually those two things prob cancelled each other out lol

Used to be able to hold it for around 4. But I stopped training, so Im back down to 2ish.
I used to use it for a few of my escapes. But ive taken some time off from performing escapes.

I figured you'd post here, and that you would have an impressive time haha

Very cool. Which underwater escapes did you do?

Maybe a minute, tops. I have always wanted to be able to hold my breath a long time, but I always forget to train. Like sometimes I'll do it one day, but forget the next. And then that cycle will repeat itself a month later.

The last time I really tried and timed myself was without training or anything like that and I did it for 2:30. I have a fairly large pool that I can swim underwater across and back which takes about a minute.

Straight jacket and a water chamber I built. Also used it when at the pool or the lake to mess with people.

I hit around the 3 and a half minute mark. I blow up balloons all day and have a pigeon chest which both give me more lung capacity then most. we must remember that capacity plays only a small part and in truth your body must be efficient in its use of the oxygen.

As always,
Dylan
