I remember a decnet amount of you do Rubik's cube, but do any of you do any patterns? I've taught myself 4 so far (aside from the easy checker board and hole-in-one patterns everyone knows). They are as follows:

1.Cube in Cube in Cube
F, D, F’, D², L’, B’, U, L, D, R, U, L’, F’, U, L, U²
Image

2.Cube in Cube (w/confetti)
B², L², F’, U², F, D², R², U², F’, L², B, U², F², L’, B, U², D², R, U’, F’, R
Image

3.Ink Blot
U², D, R², D’, U’, R, U, F², R², F², R², U, F², U², R, U’
Image

4.Neo-Nazi:
D’, F², U’, B², L², U, F², U’, L², B², U², R’, F, U, B’, U², F, R’, F’, D

I plan to learn at least one more before summer ends.

Do you guys know any patterns?

Are you talking about the original, 3x3 Rubik's Cube?
If so, I'm having trouble imagining what this should look like.

It's like this:

I think it looks like some sort of new-age nazi symbol or something.
I will update my original post with pictures.

Yes there is an easy way, technically, but if you're going to learn, it's going to take determination, practice, and patience no matter what. And I have no idea how to do it blindfolded...but I would like to learn

Have you ever checked the sides of those cubes after you did that?

Most of the time, people are like "OMG! I solved a face!!" and I'm like "look at the sides of the cubies" and they get all pissed off.

Yeah, that annoys me. It's like, "are you even looking at the cube, or are you too proud of yourself to notice your obvious mistake?"

Ahhhh the cube. i learned how to solve it last summer, and now my time for a complete solve is arround 30 sec plus or minus. and daniel116, blindfolded solves work like this:

the solver gives either a letter, number, animal, city, what ever they choose, to each individual cubie (one square), with that in mind, hey pretty much memorize the scrambeled cube, and they use the algorithems they know and pretty much have to metaly solve the cube in their head ( because they are blindfolded!) its extreamly complicated at first but once you get a system down, you got it!

ive tried learning, its just wayy too complicated and i dont have the time to learn, im happy with my sub 30 times! :D

~Cheers,

~Chris
