No it is not off topic. The topic is how Obama is trying to makethe U.S. into a socialist country with the government in charge of everything. The primary elections show that the people finally realize his agenda and are voting those who agree with him out of office.

OK, I see the connection how this is on topic. I do have some questions though.

You refered to primary elections. As far as I know, primary elections just elect who will run for a particular party, not who will hold the office, i.e. whom a particular party will endorse. Therefore I am confused. As you stated, the Tea Party won a few elections. Doesn't that mean that they only got put on the party ballot for the Republican nomination? How does that translate to "the people finally realize his agenda and are voting those who agree with him out of office"?

Of course, this my happen, but isn't this a prediction on your part? Just because the Republican party are nominating members of the Tea Party doesn't translate to the American population voting out people who agree with Obama.

Of course, if I am missing any pertinant facts here, please feel free to inform me.

Right, the TEA party candidates are running as Republicans, and winning from the old school Republican candidates. And, yes, in AK and DE where the losing republican is running as write in candidates during the general election, it could split the republican votes and the Democrats could win. However, I see the general populace as being against the Democratic party now because of B. O.'s attempt to socialize the auto, banking, and health care industries. His initials are well suited to his platform because it stinks.

These opinions are just that, they are not necessarily facts, just the actions as I see them and the opinions I have formed from my observation of facts.

As for health care reform, something needed to be done. You cannot argue against that. Take, for example, my dad. He owns his own business working on floating fountains, water features, that sort of thing. Because it's a new business, he can't afford to hire any employees, and thus works his butt off. If he didn't get his healthcare through my step-mom's job, there is no way he could possibly afford health care and keep his business afloat. Obviously the system is failing and it was time for the government to step in.

Like I said before, it doesn't matter who the president is. This is an oligarchy. Not a democracy. Obama, Bush, Palin, Gingrich, Hilary. It doesn't matter. The leaders of this country do what Bilderberg and the rest of the financial giants want them to.

The thing I've never understood is, and I am being totally serious here, if the tea party and its supporters are SO upset about socialized programs then why are they not calling for, and its politicians campaigning on, the end of Medicare?

Because Medicare must be just about the biggest socialized program there is. It absolutely dwarfs in size any of the so-called steps towards socialism that Obama has taken.

End socialism == end Medicare.

Also, the thing about health care reform is that it simply requires people to buy health insurance, with little effect on taxpayers, if you use the "calculators" online. People who get treated at state hospitals without insurance at this point simply have their bills passed on to us anyways.

That's a double standard. The Titanic was controlled by people, but the internet is not. Plus it is a world wide system which means that Obama only has any control at all over the US branch.

Perhaps I misunderstood the topic here - so correct me if I am wrong - but isn't the purpose of the "kill switch" to block American access to the internet, i.e. the US branch? I didn't think that he would try to turn off the world wide system.

no, he's not trying to shut down the world system, he hasn't the authority. But the rest of the world will fill back in the US branch. Between that and switching back to dial up for a month the only thing we will notice is a minor lack of speed and loss of the use of landline phones while searching the internet.
