I was wondering how many people here wear any sort of designer clothing? Who are your favorite designers, why, and where do you generally buy it?

I care (a lot more than I should) about clothing, and so I typically wear some designer clothing (when I can afford it). Some of my favorite designer brands are...

Billy London
English Laundry
Polo
DKNY

Any thoughts on it?

Oh, and I know a lot of people are going to say "Why would I pay extra for a shirt when I could buy one similar at Sears?". If you are adamantly against it, please do not post here. I am looking for thoughts, not why it is a bad idea to wear it. Thanks.

I have Armani glasses (surprisingly cheap) and some designer ties and shirts. I'd look if I cared to, but Geoffrey Beene I remember on some of the ties.

In my ever day life. I wear target brand clothes for the most part. (no AE, old navy or [edited] like that)
But when I have a date night, or anything where I feel to need to dress more nice. I wear Calvin Kline, Perry Ellis, Crexmuex...
To wear them in my ever day doing would be asinine, they are far too exspensive. But I do like to look sharp when Im "out on the town." Last time I went shoppig for these types of clothes. I bought 3 shirts (2 Perry, 1 Calvin), had it not be tax free day and gotten a discount, I wouldve spent over 200$. But I spent only 55$. I get nice discounts. lol

I also like Perry Ellis, but I usually get things as gifts, clearance, etc. I'm currently student teaching, so it's shirt and tie anyways. I figure it's an investment in my career.
