What would you do with a billion dollars?

One of my first endeavors would be to drain Loch Ness to see if an out of place Plesiosaurs are roaming the murky bottom! A little crazy, I know...

buy a used car for no more than $25,000. (Pay in cash).
I would buy about $1,000 worth of video games and accessories.
I would buy some nesecities: Deoderant, body wash, shampoo, etc.
I'd set aside about $100,000 for college.
I'd pay for a personal trainer and a nutritionist.

And I dunno, whatever I had left over I would just save/spend on whatever came up...

Laugh at the world's economists that are trying to figure out how a billion dollars magically appeared with no economic ramifications.

Get a lot of it in pennies and wish for a billion more dollars.

Buy all the cool historical artifacts I've always wanted (Ancient Masks, U.S. signed documents, etc.)

Keep a pet ocelot, pygmy owl, iguana, and capuchin monkey.

And pretty much just act like an eccentric billionaire.

-Probably spend a good thousand on Video games, Headphones, Mouse pads, and such.
-Spend around 300 on Juggling supplies.
-Spend maybe another 300 on Magic supplies already in my cart. (I've been hoping that I'll get that billion dollars for about a month now)
-Then buy all of the things I never had with the rest. Possibly be on the cover of Forbes magazine smiling next to Oprah and the Queen. You know. Just a thought.

Buy lots and lots of porsches, most notably a carerra gt. Buy everyone in my family everything they want including my friends. Donate a LOT of money to people within my community that I somehow know. Basically buy everything that most teenage boys would buy. I don't know, a billion dollars is a lot of money. I probably couldn't spend more than a quarter of it without saying things I wouldn't really want.

Money can't buy love but it can buy you about 30 seconds of happiness.

I'd put half of it immediately into a secure account. I'd then would prob donate about a quarter of what I have left (possibly start a charity). I would then use a portion to help out my family members with any financial/health problems. I'd buy everyone in my family a nice house. I'd buy myself my dream house (with hidden rooms, recording studio, home theater, and working R2-D2 to name some stuff). I'd pay off anything I might owe for college.

To be continued....

Half of it into a secure account? I thought the FDIC only insured up to 100 thousand?
