How did you not see it? There was so many videos and articles talking about his return to the series. (His backstory of the whole thing was pretty predictable too.)

I did like the very end, but I also thought it was very predictable. That was probably the most annoying part about it, it was too predictable. The "big twist" wasn't really big or a twist.

Definetly watch Moon, Peacock, and DEFINETLY Transsiberian. Nobody has ever heard of it and yet it still has a 95% on Rotten Tomatoes.

I got around to watching LMS earlier this week. I'd avoided it for a lonnggg time, because I was under the impression that it was a different sort of movie than it turns out to be. I quite enjoyed it, though it would hardly make my top 10 list.

What I found REALLY interesting was when the grandfather (played by Alan Arkin) gave his grandson his take on the secret to life ... because it was what Ricky Jay says Dai Vernon gave as his life advice. I mean, essentially the same word for word as how Ricky Jay put it in an interview some years ago.

I realize I am hardly the first person to notice that, but I wonder how the line got into the movie. I wonder whether Ricky Jay was an adviser on the movie or something.

Well, or someone just read the interview (like I did) and 'borrowed it' for the movie.

You need to see Thief (1980) Starring James Kahn and one of Michael Mann's first films. The story line is not nearly as "slick" as some of those you listed but it is probably the most accurate "Heist" flick ever made. All the extra's are either former Chicago "Box men" or the cops that put them away.
