Vectir Remote Control

Hey everyone,
Recently I have been using Vectir (http://www.vectir.com), which is an application that allows you to control your computer via Bluetooth or Wifi. I love it because the possibilities are limitless. There are many uses that magicians may use. For example, you could use it to control the music of your show, yourself, so you don't have to have someone else to control the music. I am also pretty sure that there are other possibilities for magicians. For example, you could have an audience member go to a web page, or choose a song of their choice (without playing it out loud, of course), and you could predict what website or song they are thinking of by secretly looking at your phone and see what they are looking at on the computer.

Another reason I love Vectir is because I don't have an unlimited data plan, but I do have Bluetooth, which means that even though I can't use Wifi, I can use Bluetooth as much as I want. Downloading the application was also a breeze (http://www.vectir.com/download/). Even if you don't use it in a magic routine, there are many other applications to it, and it is even fun to play around with. I hope this inspires everyone to use Vectir (http://www.vectir.com) for entertainment, or just for fun.

Or I could hide a wireless mouse in my pocket, and set the pc up to do a slideshow, with each slide hooked to the needed song, that way I could change it by tapping my hip, rather than fiddling with a cell phone.

It's so easy to monitor what someone's doing on your computer these days that this is hardly an effect at all.
Now, if you could tell them what they were looking at on THEIR cell phone, that would be a nice mentalism effect.

Not really. My laptop can do much more than a phone can do, and it has a bigger screen, and a keyboard I can touchtype on.

Ummmm.... The whole point was to inform everyone about Vectir not to get someone to say that their laptop can do more than a phone....because that is pretty obvious. I was telling everyone about the software, not telling the only way that these effects are possible.
