I tend to make these posts whenever I find a really great band (in my opinion) so I might as well make another.

Young the Giant is a newer band with their debut self titled album out, "Young the Giant". Their first single is called "My Body" and around here it has been played to the ends of the earth practically. At first it really pissed me off, but now that I gave them some time and listened to their more recent single, "Cough Syrup" (really ironic titles...), I can't get enough!


Check out "My Body" live from Daily Habit. One of the few bands that sounds the same live and in studio which is always a plus.

Their style could be considered something like an indie based rock with a tiny bit of pop in there as well (only if you're really abstract about it). I would probably suggest this to anybody who might be a fan of Foster the People or Cage the Elephant. Again, 2 up and coming bands (CTE I personally don't care for).
