That was such a bizarre feeling. There was a 5.8 magnitude (now confirmed to be 5.9) in Virginia earlier today that shook all up D.C, PA, NJ, and NY. I was sitting at my house on the computer and saw my desk start shaking. It was a little dizzying and thought I was hallucinating but then my Mom and brother felt it as well.

Anyone else feel it?

I was excited to talk about it but everyone wants to talk about the one in Virginia.

My downstairs neighbor was doing construction all week and when my furniture started shaking I thought nothing of it.

And I thought I couldn't get earthquakes in Brooklyn.

Felt it all the way in AC. Almost broke my ipod.

I live in northern Virginia and the past few weeks have been crazy. First there was the earthquake. Then hurricane Irene. And just this past week, there was a small flood because of the after-effects of tropical storm Lee.
It's crazy!
Tomorrow's the tenth anniversary of 9/11 so let's hope that there is no risk of any terrorist attacks on Washington D.C.!
