So living in Southern New Jersey, Irene is the first major hurricane I've ever experienced. Seemingly for good reason practically the entire coast is being evacuated. Probably gonna miss a couple gigs because of it, especially if there's any damage. To everybody on the East Coast, stay safe.

I'm around central Jersey and even we're getting a little concerned. I hear LBI is alredy out. Still being 20 minutes from the shore is a little scary. Best of luck to everyone else

The cleaning detergents sold on the East coast have updated instructions for their use; Shake, blow with air and then soak.

Wow, your first hurricane. That's crazy. Living in Florida, I've experienced quite a few. They're awful. Never so awful that I had to evacuate, but during the worst one, Katrina, my power wa sout for about 3 weeks.

It's never really a good experience, so I can definitely understand the feeling, it did get me out of school for a while, which wasn't bad, but still, having the power out and all, not fun.

Anyway, I hope you and the people around you are okay.

We got lucky with this one...went right past us.

Yeah, the hurricane was like one of those bang guns. Everyone was evacuating and the worst damage it did was knock over a couple of lawn chairs haha.
