1957? Wow...that's when Miles Davis came out with Kinda Blue.

My father has many albums from that era. Predominantly classical and jazz. The original Round about Midnight by Miles is mint and sounds better than the 'remastered' cd.

His albums are a treasure chest....even at 33 I still find myself, when I visit, acting like a little kid sitting on the floor in front of the chest that houses all of that original mint vinyl. Some of which I really don't think are made of vinyl...but another material I can't quite recognize.

I was 14 years 1n 1957 so I wasn't into jazz or classical.Was just in the early days of rock,so all my records from 57 on are rock,in fact still rockin. I want to have a t-shirt made with "I can't be 60 cause I still love Rock and roll" pasted on the front.
