Ok I have a camera, a digital camera. It is a Canon Powershot G1. I wan't to take pictures or videos but I can't get the computer to detect it, any ideas? I do not have the software that comes with it, only a driver I downloaded.

Any help is appreciated,
Matt

Yes I have the cable, it hooks up to the camera and has a USB connection.

Try going into control pannel and clicking on add/remove hardware. the computer will then probably detect the usb and the digi cam and install it automatically. Hope this helps. if not, pm me.

I'm sorry, I'd like to help you out but I can't read your message. You really should use a larger font size when you type in your messages. You know how it is, I'm old and nearly blind :-)
