Just go into best buy and pick up x-box live. You don't have to have a credit card or anything, just get the prepaid card and stuff and you're good to go! (this is assuming that you already have highspeed)

by the way besides ebay is there n e where else i can get a headset and the adapter for it for cheap?

Actually, you do need a credit card. when you create your gamertag, it asks for your address and such so they can bill you if you decide to go over the time you paid for at the store. It also asks for a credit card number.

yah, you do need a credit card (mastercard, visa, or discover) or a debit card with one or more of those brands on it.
