A few months ago I had set up a houdini style upsidedown straight jacket escape with the owner of a local club. Four days before the show we ran into legal conflicts due to the safety of the beam I was to be hanging by. (an industrial grade winch was purchased to raise me about 100 ft in the air).
Very last minute I devised an escape that I can't seem to find documentation of someone else doing. I was straightjacketed and then put into a thick plastic mattress bag (the kind a new mattress is sealed in when purchasing). I must admit, this was extremely dumb considering the time frame and danger. While I had two paramedics standing by (legit) I had not taken into effect the humidity of a mid august night and how that effects moisture in a sealed bag. It was like taking off a wet shirt times 1000.
I did get out and posted it to youtube. I am always looking for some new and exciting challenge and I look forward to people checking it out and giving me feedback.
Note: the video is not professional quality, just a shot a person in the crowd forwarded to me.
