When i ordered these from Pen.co.uk i though it was a European Branch of Penguin and it has a British phone number and address.

But i now believe the items are being imported from the States.
The only question i have is do i have to pay Customs on this?
I ordered a Camera from the States a couple of years ago because it was cheaper than here'but when it was delivered i had to pay £40 Customs before they would give it to me and of course it totally defeated the object of getting it from the states.

So will i have to pay Customs when the goods arrrive from Penguin?

I believe they import stuff from America to their European warehouse before then mailing it to you. If they sent what you order directly from the States then everything available on the U.S. site would also be available for purchase on the U.K. site, which it isn't.

And if you do buy through the American site you don't have to pay any import tax. I know what you mean. I bought some stuff through another American magic website and was greeted by an extra £10 charge when it arrived. Penguin write something on the packaging which gets around this so you have nothing to worry about.
