The forum moderators have had several private messages asking what the SOC(special order catalog) is exactly, and several threads have also been made in the public asking this type of question. Thus we decided to make this Sticky topic in the News forum explaining, just so we don't need to explain on a daily basis what the SOC actually is, and what it does.

Being that Penguin Magic does no longer sell L&L products as they had a few misunderstandings, and Penguin does not do any business with a few other magic dealers, they decided to bring to you the SOC. The SOC enables you and gives you this great opportunity to purchase through Penguin Magic products that are owned to magic dealers that Penguin Magic makes no business with.

Due to this, some products from the SOC do not have any descriptions unfortunately, and yet do not have the free Penguins Only features that you gain when purchasing magic through Penguin. It is also possible that SOC products might not ship the same, or the next day just like Penguin regular products. Maxwell Murphy has talked about it, and has stated that customers should not worry about the "waiting" process for their order to be shipped, as in most cases the SOC products will still be shipped the same or the next day.

However we still believe that this is an excellent feature, as there is enough quality material to please you. I hope this answers all your questions about the SOC!
