Ive done one for my sisters cheerleading friends and other classmates
Did one today for my sisters class.
Got one hopefully coming up on the 22nd for kindergarteners.

Ive got a solid routine, Ive read up on what to and not to do. I was thinking of letting these kind of be my guide of learning more about the dos and donts and kinda getting out there, and from now on begin to chrage. Sound reasonable?

Now that you've gotten your feet wet and have sort of an idea what a Kid show is about now you need to invest in as many books and DVD's on kid shows that you can get your hands on.
You will be shocked just how much this will do for your shows. Never stop trying to be better. Good doesn't cut it..Go for greatness.
Good luck,
Mike

if you are going to take this business serious then every book will teach you. Even if there is mostly "common sense" material within the book there may just be a hidden gem that you didn’t think about. If you get one thing from a book or DVD then it pays for itself many times over. Even if you don’t get anything from the material it may confirm your thinking on a subject and that will give you confidence in knowing that what your doing has worked for others.

Many of us have established shows but we still purchase more material. This is in an effort to improve ourselves. So never stop learning and never think to lowly about any book out there.

One more note- A book that many people swear by is Silly Billy's book so that would be a good start

The birthday party business is an excellent book. It goes over everything including marketing and promoting which is essential if you plan on being successful.
Ken Scott has an excellent DVD on a Bd party. Invest in that kind of stuff right now that will do you far more than investing in effects.
