Braady,
Instead of wasting your money on a bunch of magic stuff put that money into material explaining the what, when, where & how to do kid shows. Going by what you have posted you are under the false understanding that magic makes the show.
I get more reactions from a large sponge camera, wilting rose and Axtell's drawing board. None of these are really magic effects. You probably haven't heard of a warm up which is essential in starting kid shows and I'm not going to go into it as this should be your job in gathering this info. Instead of asking us what effects to get if you research material on kid shows this will answer a lot of your questions. How would I or anyone else know what will work for you.
If you want to see a kid doing a kid show who thinks the magic is what makes the show, watch flight2 video on the penguin theater. Little to no audience participation, very little to no warm up.
Just one magic stunt after another.
Research-research-research.
Just being a magician at a Kid show will lead to failure.
I know, I have done my reserch and I have done loads of kids show, I jest need some more stuff, thats all, Im not jest starting.
