My first kid's show will be sometime in Aug. or Sept. :D
I will be performing at my 5 year old cousins bday.
I have some card tricks, dlites, thumtips and stuff like that.
I will be getting balloon school and rocky the raccoon to do their also.
Which should I get first

P.S. I have done basic balloon sculptures before

P.S.S. Should I get a dvd with rocky? If so which one?

Since the question was what to learn I will answer that. HOW TO ENTERTAIN CHILDREN. If you have basics down on balloon sculpture then leave it at that and develop a show. You have at least two months so that time must be spent wisely. So get material on entertaining children (there may be some books at your library).

So far as I can see it you don't have much of a show. Start studying!!

5 year olds can't typically follow cards tricks unless they are very simple and they can relate to them.

With that said, I do a card trick that the younger kids like (Cowboy and Indians off of Gerry Griffin's DVD Set) that is easy for the kids to follow --- except, I have made my own bicycle back cards with cartoon characters for them to follow (i.e. Scooby Doo, Disney, Looney Toons). They really seem to like it because they can FOLLOW this very basic card trick and the cartoons are familiar to them, which helps.
