This is my first kid show at my library and I'm doing Card Toon, Jumping Card (they pick a card I cull to the bottom and then long distinse spinner), Ultimate Transpo, Ambitious Card, Equal Unequal Ropes, Super Mini Magic Coloring Book w/ Home made vanishing crayons, and coin in pocket. Could you tell me a good routine with those? Thanks! :D

If you are going to be performing for a small group of roughly 5-6 kids some of the effects that you have will work.
If this is going to a situation in which you are standing in front of 30 kids and expect to get away with this then you don't have the experince or the effects to begin.

She said there was roughly ten kids at story time so what do you think please help me. It is my first show though. I ordered sponge balls yesterday and did the 2 day shipping so I don't know if they'll be here tommorro or not. But tell me if it is ok for 10!

the show is tomorrow? Then why the heck are you only starting to worry about it now? You have two options either turn it down or suck it up and do a bad show.

I highly recomend that you turn down the gig, you are going to make other magicians look bad.

Much as I hate to say it, EVERYONE is right on this one. You are SCREWED royally. The real problem is that you have ruined your reputation on your first show PLUS you may have burned that library from ever using a magician again because of your crummy preparation and performance. It is people like you taht run off with no knowledge and ruin things for everyone.

Well, what to say-the first show is always the worst, especially if you're unprepared. The mini coloring book and crayons would work, just have the kids take the colors off their shirts and throw them at the book, have a dark haired child take their hair to make the black outlines. Fyi, get a stage size coloring book, its much more visual. Ultimate transpo they won't get-stick with the classics-PB&J illusion, D'lites, Magic Milk Pitcher, even Snowstorm in China would work. Just listen to everyone else listed above and don't book a show you're not ready for. If you continue it and suck at it, you won't get booked again.

Isn't there a song about this guy?
Another one bites the dust! Yeah by Queen.
Dude, you booked the show. Everybody knows that no moron would book a show and not be ready for it.
Also, everybody knows that if you book a show and you are clueless- you shouldn't come on here expecting to get bailed out by us. We've done it the right way..hard work countless hours of studying and practicing. Now what makes you think we are going to help out a hack like you.
