You never will be a professional if you don't have the best props. You can not do a show with old beat up second hand looking equipment. We don't just "do magic tricks," anybody can do that, a professional entertains and LOOKS like a professional. With props that are nice looking and clean. An example, There are several rip off tricks that Magic Makers has. Compare them to the real objects that they copied and you can tell the difference. I just wanted to say that I can't afford this yet as I don't have a show yet.
Thank you for your advice but I was wondering when you think I (and people in the same boat as me) should get top notch tricks.
Should I buy the best quality first or should I get okay tricks then get better later?

Any help is great!

Zeke, I agree the link is not working now-- but I know that at the time Dinotech posted the link it was working because I checked the trick out. It was a cool looking prop, but at $1599, definitely out of my budget. It appeared to be more of a stage prop than a birthday show prop to me. Nonetheless, very cool looking.

All of those look AMAZING. If I performed more than an average of once every 2 months, I'd definitely look into those.

Sluggo, you hadn't seen chance's props before? They are AWESOME! Absolutely beautiful! I've heard nothing but high praise for any of his props.

I've been on Wolf's magic site before, I didn't realize it was called Chance's.
They are fantastic but for the price they should.

they are a little pricy but they are also HUGE and VERY well made.

I fixed the link Yes its called the dirt eradicator. Its the the best single performer shoe burner out there.. Its also has fake smoke and bubbles when done in homes instead of outside. This prop has been used at Disney World. this thing is great!

thanks for some of the suggestions...i bought a few things llike the pb & j illusion and the joker tube and a couple of other things. Now im loking for a good change bag and stuff to go along with it (mismade flag etc.) do you guy have any reccomendations? thanks in advance

I bought several change bags before finding one that I really, really like. I bought it from Duane Laflin's site and it is the "old" style. It can easily be done one handed and is so smooth no one will catch you!!
