This was the first trick i ever bought, but i almost never perform for adults anymore, so it is just collecting dust in my bag of magic tricks Do you guys think you can make a fun story with it and maybe put it in a kid show?

I think you could make the linking rings work for people between 7 and 12. I think if you put time into it it will be just as exciting as your "kid tricks". Remember, it's the presentation not the magic that will decide what ages the magic will work for.

LOL, no that is true, but it is still a great routine!

FYI, "Ronald McDonald" uses Whit's routine. It plays amazingly well for kids of all ages.

On his instructional DVD for his routine, he mentions several times about performing it in children's shows, or using a child as an assistant.

It's a great routine that can be performed , or adapted to any kind of audience.

Whit's routine is horrible. All of them. Stop using them.

Okay, that should get a good number of people to stop using them so I can be the only one right? I want you to stop, I'm not stopping. I love the routines. Whit's routine is my favorite stage sized Linking Rings routine. I don't see myself doing a larger show without using this routine. It makes sense, flows well, and isn't hard at all.

Whit's rings are excellent, but so Chris Capehart's 3 ring routine. I use that for kids shows because when you do a crash link right in front of thier eyes and then unlink it blows them away. I do the crash link about 5 times as I walk thru the audience, each time right in front of the kids eyes so they see the rings penetrate. They all swear that they saw the steel actually melt and rejoin. Love it.
