they're having a "Balloon Jam" about an 45 minutes from my house tomorrow....special guests include: Tawney Bubbles,Todd Neufeld, and Pat in the Hat!

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it :/

This is my first attempt at creating my very own balloon sculpture. The design just kind of hit me last night while I was thinking about making one...so I got out of bed and went to work. He came out pretty good.

Like I said, it's my first personal design, and I've only been twisting for about 10 days now, so I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

It's a shark, in case you couldn't tell. I'm going to make another tonight with the fins a bit different, and see if I like that design better.

(He's sitting on my dog's bed for the pictures, that's why there's so much hair on that blanket... )

Man, I've had so much stuff on my plate lately that I haven't been able to work on my balloons much.
