Dump the coloring book. every little kid has seen it. Use the same ropes for the professor's nightmare/professor's daydream and the cut and restored rope sequence. you have to buy your rope in 50 or 100 foot lengths but it is cheap at the hardwae store. It only takes a second to cut the ropes for the professor's routine and I do it right in front of the audience and no one sees what I am doing.
